About
We are the Original Little 7, a Theatre & Digital Media company based out of the Porch 7th Ward Cultural Organization in New Orleans, LA.
We first formed in January of 2007 and have been going strong ever since, creating plays, music videos, short films, and a webseries.
The Original Little 7 Players are a program of the Porch and a project of Home, New Orleans? (an initiative of the National Performance Network) with funding provided by the Ford Foundation.

Alton
I want to write about football, it’s my best sport. I want to win my $100 gift card in my school, for having perfect attendance. It would be tight. My second best sport is baseball. “Let’s get it started” is my favorite song.

I had to move to Minnesota because of Katrina. I like to run really fast. I like to play video games. I love to read “Bark George”. My best friend is my sister. I love my family, I am very very beautiful.
Threse
Hi my name is Threse, I go to Fantasy Willyam, it is a bad school but I like it. I like to play softball. Things I like to do after school, I like coming to the porch. I have a friend named Grace, she is really nice. Fantasy Williams is a bad school because the boys at my school want to hit the girls and some of the girls fight back, but some of them don’t.
Tyrek Rollins
I catch roosters and hens. I have a kitten. I like to eat lemon pie. I would like to learn how to make hats.
OJ
I like to drive around in my uncle’s car. I like football. I like hot chips. I don’t like mean people. I like going out.
Jonathan
Hi, my name is Jonathan and I’m writing about my favorite sports. I go to a school named Francias W. Gregory. I’m going to play flag football for Gregory too. They don’t have tackle football so I just went with flag. It was hard to pick because football is not my favorite sport. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I’m in 6th grade. Oh yea- but yeah, basketball is my favorite sport. I had to pick out flag football, basketball and track. One thing I don’t like about football is that you can get hurt quick. One thing I like about football is that you get good exercise. One thing I don’t like about basketball is that they cheat too much and they have a lot of tall people. One thing I like about basketball is that it’s just fun and I like shooting 3-pointers. My favorite players are Michael Jordan, David West, Chris Paul, Lebron James and Kobe Bryant.

I like to play basketball because I want to be an MVP. I like to play football because I want to be a famous WR. My mom is nice because she gives me money and candy. My dad is bald because he shaves his head. I like money because it helps my mom pay bills.

I like to color in my color books and write in my journal. I like to do my doll’s hair. I like to read my books, my favorite is “Sleeping Beauty”. I like to take pictures at my home. I also like to draw pictures.

I want to go to bed. I had a dream about Friday the 13th. I like football because I want to be a famous football player. I like to listen to Lil Wayne. I like to drum. I like to play basketball because it is fun.

I like to play football because I want to break the world record in returning kicks. I want to return all kicks.
